COURSE DESCRIPTION This course consists of a 10-lesson teaching manual interfacing with the text book, In The Spirit We're Equal: The Spirit, the Bible, and Women—A Revival Perspective. The project's two-fold purpose is to inform and affirm. The material was tested through teaching a study group consisting of volunteers at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. As a result of the course, the participants indicated a definite theological shift in favor of a the egalitarian model presented. They testified to immediate changes in attitude and life-style that reflected increased harmony with biblical values. COURSE OBJECTIVES To provide an atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit can teach, liberate, and heal men and women who have suffered through the erroneous precepts and practices of the Church's traditional teaching on womanhood. To affirm men and women who already accept the reality of biblical equality for women. To present biblically accurate information on the subject of biblical womanhood. To present historically accurate information on the subject of biblical womanhood.
